Crystal Safaris - 5 Day Gorilla Express - Uganda - This tour provides an excellent extension for Kenya and Tanzania especially for those interested in just Gorilla trekking.

Day 1: Kampala - Entembe: Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by a Crystal Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities.  After transfer to your hotel, you will be briefed about your safari.  Depending on the time of day, you will be advised to have money changed at an exchange should you need to or visit some of Kampala's landmarks in town with the assistance of our driver/guide.

Day 2: Kampala - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: Depart from Kampala early morning.  Stop over at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photos.  The drive takes you through savannah grasslands, banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle.  Then you acsend into the Kigezi higlands, known as the "Switzerland of Africa", with terraced farming and mountain scenery to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.  You will need a good sleep to get ready for the next day of Gorilla trekking.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking: On this day you will have to wake up early in the morning and you will have a briefing in the park office at 07h00.  Trekking will begin at 08h30.  The trekking can take between 2 - 6 hours.  You will walk up steeply into the dense rain forest, through different animals' trails.  Gorilla trekking is an inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can't miss.  The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact.  There is always a ranger guide to interpret the flora fauna and as well as the behaviour of the Gorilla.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Mburo:  After an early morning breakfast, you will depart Bwindi National Park for Lake Mburo National Park.  Have a game drive as you enter the park, and in the afternoon you can either take a boat trip on Lake Mburo or relax.

Day 5: Lake Mburo - Kampala: On this day after your morning breakfast, you will drive back to Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
